About the role
- Lead deployment and configuration of Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) solutions for global enterprise customers
- Integrate Cisco SD-WAN with customer LAN/WAN architectures ensuring performance and security compliance
- Design and maintain detailed network diagrams and documentation for handover
- Configure and implement BGP, OSPF, VRFs, and routing policies
- Collaborate with Project Managers and customer stakeholders to plan implementation timelines and ensure successful go-lives
- Serve as technical point of contact during project delivery resolving issues and leading cutovers
- Participate in pre-implementation planning including design validation and readiness assessments
- Follow Jolera’s project and change management frameworks ensuring consistent delivery
- Ensure best practices and standardized configurations are applied during every deployment
- Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to strategic network architecture planning
Requirements
- Deep hands-on experience in Meraki SD-WAN
- Experience with BGP and OSPF
- Deep experience with Cisco core networking
- End-to-end Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) deployment across edge routers, controllers, and centralized policy management
- Strong BGP and OSPF hands-on configuration and troubleshooting experience
- Familiarity with Catalyst, ISR/ASR routers, and Nexus switches
- Experience with diagramming tools (Visio, Lucidchart)
- Basic scripting or templating (Ansible, Python) a plus
- CCNA required
- CCNP preferred
- Cisco SD-WAN specialist certification highly valued
- Experience in customer-facing delivery roles in a systems integrator or MSP context
- Comfortable working with international teams
- Project-driven, delivery-focused, and confident leading complex deployments independently
- Communicative and structured with high-standard documentation skills
