Design, deliver, and manage effective development training programs companywide in partnership with Technical Trainers in the Continuous Improvement team
Responsible for leadership training, compliance training, and career path development while mentoring employees and fostering a culture of safety & continuous learning
Design and deliver leadership development programs for high-potential employees and emerging leaders
Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs and create customized learning solutions
Develop and implement professional development programs, workshops, and training initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics
Partner with external vendors, consultants, and training providers to source and deliver specialized development programs
Manage learning management systems (LMS) and other digital training platforms to support online and blended learning
Create career development pathways and provide coaching and mentorship opportunities for employees
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new learning technologies to enhance professional development initiatives
Promote company Core Values and a culture of continuous learning and safety
Follow safe work practices in accordance with company and client worksite policies
Travel as required by E2 Optics
Requirements
High School diploma or GED equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
Certification in corporate training, instructional design, or a related area (CPTD, ATD, SHRM, etc.) preferred
5+ years of experience in professional development, training, or learning & development roles
Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and talent management
Excellent facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills
Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools
Ability to analyze data and measure training effectiveness
Strong project management and organizational skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities
Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
Self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player with excellent work ethics
Strategic planning skills
Proven track record of designing and implementing successful leadership and compliance training programs
Tactful, professional demeanor with ability to interact effectively with managers, employees, internal and external parties
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
Willing and able to travel as required
