About the role
- Provides leadership and oversight of the Quality Testing and Delivery Team
- Works with all stakeholders to drive Quality related strategies with a focus on reducing operating expense/ transaction costs while ensuring a superior customer experience
- Provides thought leadership and IT transformation recommendations in various technology areas
- Responsible for the centralized and coordinated IT quality management of projects and initiatives
- Lead the establishment of consistent methodologies, processes, tools, infrastructure and metrics across the SLDC
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years technical consulting, solution design, account management or operations management experience
- In lieu of degree, 12 years of experience as stated above
- Proven experience in IT application delivery and software testing, including end-to-end delivery of web applications and claims systems (e.g., Facets)
- Strong background in software testing for products and upgrades, ensuring minimal defects and timely resolution of production issues
- Ability to reduce cost with use of automation and artificial intelligence
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale vendor relationships, including offshore/onshore teams and significant budgets
