About the role
- As the primary customer contact for large battery storage systems and feed-in installations on our high-voltage grid, you coordinate the timely handling of all customer requests within our company and ensure high-quality communication from the first inquiry through to final response.
- You independently manage and coordinate new connections of large battery storage systems from initial customer contact through to the first billing.
- For already connected installations, you remain the first point of contact for the customer.
- In our IT systems you record, maintain and process customer requests, including all relevant commercial data and documents.
- You handle complex cases independently or support the research required to obtain the necessary information.
- When dealing with complaints you act confidently, reliably and with solid subject-matter knowledge.
- As a partner for climate protection you represent our company and maintain an attentive focus on customers’ needs.
- You are open to other network-industry topics and handle special tasks. For example, you support the development of technical requirements for supporting IT systems to optimize and efficiently manage all customer service processes.
Requirements
- You have commercial or technical vocational training with additional qualifications, or comparable skills and experience.
- You have comprehensive knowledge of network and energy market relationships in Germany and the regulations relevant to the role, in particular applicable laws such as the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) and the Energy Industry Act (EnWG).
- You are proficient with common Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint and can quickly familiarize yourself with new IT systems.
- Customer orientation is not a foreign concept to you — seeing things from the customer's perspective comes naturally.
- Customer satisfaction is your motivation and is your top priority.
Benefits
- Transparent compensation: You will receive an attractive collective agreement salary (approx. €58,000–70,000 depending on qualification and experience).
- Holiday bonus, an annual special payment and employer savings contributions (approximately €480/year).
- Time for you: We offer a 37-hour work week, 30 days of vacation and additional days off on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
- Time tracking: You can convert accumulated working time into time off.
- Flexibility: Flexible working hours with no core hours.
- Remote work is standard practice for us.
- Workation: You can work from another EU country for up to 20 days per year.
- Meaningful work: You will make a valuable contribution to the energy transition — within a large company and with a secure job.
- Health: Whether JobRad (bike leasing), company sports, sports events or balanced meals in our cafeteria — your personal well-being matters to us.
- Development & training: Our continuing education program supports your professional and personal development, including project work across the E.ON Group.
- Family: As a certified family-friendly employer, we cooperate with partners who support you with childcare or care for relatives. You will also receive a childbirth allowance of €350.
- Time out: You can book holiday accommodations throughout Europe at favorable rates.
- Leave: For special occasions, such as marriage, moving house, a child’s wedding or a silver wedding anniversary, you can take leave beyond statutory entitlements.
