About the role
- You are responsible for renewable energy projects with a focus on solar (PV) and wind throughout all phases (commercial, legal and environmental).
- You secure suitable project sites in Germany through targeted acquisition by understanding and anticipating the perspective of landowners.
- You use your professional presence and negotiation skills to persuade landowners, municipalities, service providers and investors.
- You lead project teams technically and manage external partners to implement projects quickly and smoothly.
- Together with the team, you build a sustainable project pipeline through to successful implementation by acting entrepreneurially.
Requirements
- Completed degree in a planning or energy-related discipline (e.g., Architecture, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Renewable Energy) or equivalent qualification.
- Several years of experience in project acquisition and development in the renewable energy sector, and solid expertise in construction law, energy economics and/or contract law.
- High level of initiative, decisiveness and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Structured, results-oriented and efficient working style.
- Confident demeanor, persuasive ability in contract negotiations and strong communication skills when dealing with decision-makers to build trusting relationships.
- Very good German language skills (C1) and willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 20–50% depending on role focus).
