About the role
- Execute sourcing strategies across packaging, finished goods, in alignment with broader business objectives.
- Support new product launches for rhode by coordinating supplier readiness, timelines, and deliverables.
- Partner cross-functionally to support post-development optimization initiatives.
- Manage ongoing relationships with assigned suppliers, serving as a primary point of contact for day-to-day operational needs.
- Support supplier negotiations by preparing cost analyses, benchmarks, and recommendations.
- Assist in managing contractual terms related to pricing, capacity, and supply continuity, escalating issues as needed.
- Partner with R&D, Product Development, and Marketing to support internally and externally led development pathways.
- Support supplier-led innovation by tracking capabilities, samples, and development timelines.
- Coordinate supplier participation in development and commercialization activities.
- Contribute to maintaining a diverse supplier base that supports category growth and brand requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Demand, Supply Chain, Operations, or other related field
- 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Supplier Management, or Procurement
- 2+ years of experience in sourcing required, ideally within the beauty industry
- Experience working with contract manufacturers and packaging suppliers, with a focus on partnership and relationship building
- Strong financial and analytical aptitude, with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent negotiation, influence, and stakeholder management skills
- Highly adaptable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and evolving business needs
- A continuous improvement mindset, particularly across new product development processes and supplier management.
