About the role

  • Independent management of financial accounting for our Czech branch
  • Fixed-asset accounting for all German entities
  • Participation in the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for our German companies
  • Execution of payments and support in cash management
  • Support on all tax matters, including VAT returns and annual tax filings, in cooperation with the tax advisor
  • Preparation of reports and analyses
  • Preparation of statistics for German authorities
  • Collaboration on the continuous optimization of accounting processes
  • Participation in the implementation of a new ERP system

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration or completed commercial vocational training, ideally as a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified balance-sheet accountant)
  • Professional experience in accounting
  • Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS
  • Good knowledge of German tax law
  • Team-oriented and reliable
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken; ideally knowledge of Polish and/or Czech
  • Confident use of MS Office and user-level experience with an ERP system (ideally Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Navision)
