About the role

  • Independently lead the financial accounting for our Czech entity.
  • Fixed asset accounting for all German companies, including foreign branches.
  • Contribute to the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for our German entities.
  • Execute payments and collaborate on cash management.
  • Support all tax matters, including VAT pre-filings and annual tax returns, in cooperation with the tax advisor.
  • Prepare reports and analyses.
  • Prepare statistics for German authorities.
  • Participate in the continuous optimization of accounting processes.
  • Support the implementation of a new ERP system.

Requirements

  • University degree in business administration or completed commercial training, ideally certified as a Bilanzbuchhalter (German certified accounting professional).
  • (Some) professional experience in accounting.
  • Very good knowledge of HGB (German Commercial Code) and IFRS.
  • Good knowledge of German tax law.
  • Team player with a reliable work ethic.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English; knowledge of Polish and/or Czech is desirable.
  • Confident user of MS Office and user-level experience with an ERP system (ideally Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Navision).
