About the role

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning models and applications.
  • Architect scalable AI solutions that can be integrated into existing systems or platforms.
  • Oversee the full AI development lifecycle including data preparation, model development, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Ensure code quality, documentation, and best practices are followed by the development team.
  • Manage and mentor junior AI developers, providing technical guidance and code reviews.
  • Support junior developers in implementing machine learning algorithms and AI models.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to understand business requirements.
  • Translate business problems into AI-driven technical solutions.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet performance and quality standards.
  • Oversee model training, testing, evaluation, and performance tuning.
  • Identify opportunities to improve model accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Stay updated with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in software development with strong exposure to AI/ML projects.
  • Proven experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Experience with data processing, model training, evaluation, and optimization.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior developers is highly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
