About the role
- Assist in the management of a litigated motor recoveries caseload from inception to resolution.
- Draft legal documents and correspondence.
- Liaise with clients, insurers, third parties, and other solicitors.
- Conduct legal research and assist with case preparation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management records.
- Support senior fee earners with administrative and procedural tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience handling in your own right or assisting on a litigated Motor Insurance caseload.
- The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and to be able to carefully analyse files and data.
- The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Business acumen and an understanding of the clients' needs.
- Computer literate including proficient use of Microsoft Office.
- An understanding of the wider Motor Recoveries market in terms of trends, strengths, weaknesses and opportunities (Desirable).
- Previous experience of working with Visual Files case management system (Desirable).
