About the role

  • Assist in the management of a litigated motor recoveries caseload from inception to resolution.
  • Draft legal documents and correspondence.
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, third parties, and other solicitors.
  • Conduct legal research and assist with case preparation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management records.
  • Support senior fee earners with administrative and procedural tasks.

Requirements

  • Previous experience handling in your own right or assisting on a litigated Motor Insurance caseload.
  • The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and to be able to carefully analyse files and data.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Business acumen and an understanding of the clients' needs.
  • Computer literate including proficient use of Microsoft Office.
  • An understanding of the wider Motor Recoveries market in terms of trends, strengths, weaknesses and opportunities (Desirable).
  • Previous experience of working with Visual Files case management system (Desirable).
