About the role
- Where appropriate, lead and manage a caseload of complex finance litigation matters; otherwise act as the day-to-day lead on larger or more complex matters.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients on risk management, including the detection, prevention, and recovery of fraud-related losses; and the strategic handling of mis-selling waves, systems, procedures, and PR risk.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, supporting their development and ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Take ownership of day-to-day management and supervision of cases in the team and the client reporting requirements.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, including client pitches, thought leadership, and networking.
Requirements
- 8+ years PQE with a strong background in finance litigation.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale actions.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills.
- Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
- A proactive, collaborative approach with a commitment to mentoring and team development.
- Desirable It would be helpful, but it is not essential, to have experience in multi-jurisdictional disputes, High Court injunctions and commercial insolvency.
