About the role
- Lead the strategy and execution of our field marketing and events programs across North America.
- Build a scalable events engine that drives brand awareness, pipeline creation, and market penetration.
- Own the field events portfolio end-to-end: selecting and prioritizing programs, developing repeatable playbooks, ensuring strong execution, and driving measurable results.
- Create and manage an annual and quarterly events roadmap, balancing trade shows, conferences, executive dinners, roundtables, and regional field events.
- Research, qualify, and recommend revenue-focused and strategically aligned events and sponsorships.
- Collaborate deeply with Sales leadership to align field investments to territory plans, target accounts, and pipeline goals.
- Partner with Product Marketing and broader Marketing leadership to ensure messaging is consistent and aligned to buyer needs.
- Build strong alignment with SDR/BDR teams to ensure effective lead follow-up and post-event conversion.
- Establish best practices and scalable playbooks for event planning, promotion, and post-event follow-up motions.
- Measure and report event performance and provide insights to Marketing and Sales teams on regional event performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA a plus).
- Proven experience leading field marketing and events programs within B2B SaaS—preferably in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, cybersecurity, or adjacent technical categories.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure services, technologies, and market dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale revenue-focused field programs with measurable pipeline outcomes.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple workstreams across regions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including comfort partnering with Sales leadership and executive teams.
- Familiarity with marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems; strong operational discipline. ( Salesforce, HubSpot, Trello, Luma, and Google Docs/Sheets/Slides )
- Highly collaborative, metrics-oriented, and driven to improve and grow programs over time.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel throughout North America to manage regional marketing events and activities ( 20–30% ).
