About the role
- Identify, approach and engage high-potential Agent profiles through proactive, targeted headhunting.
- Map key markets (Montréal, Toronto, New York, Los Angeles, etc.) and analyze competing ecosystems.
- Become the internal reference for who does what, where and why in the industry.
- Build and maintain long-term human relationships with rare, brilliant and ambitious talent — year-round.
- Position Dulcedo as an employer of choice through a credible, intelligent and authentic approach.
- Build living, qualified pipelines that can be activated at any time (no more emergency hiring).
- Supply the majority of openings with thoughtfully headhunted, aligned candidates.
- Read between the lines of the market: anticipate movements, detect weak signals and identify talent before competitors do.
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to turn market intelligence into concrete decisions.
- Keep a clear, structured overview of all your leads in our ATS (Lever).
- Have a direct impact on Dulcedo’s growth without being measured solely by number of hires.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in recruitment, headhunting or executive search OR a strong background in sales/business development with a heavy relationship component.
- A hunter mentality: you know the best talent doesn’t apply — they must be attracted.
- Proven experience building pipelines before roles open.
- Comfortable working with mid to senior profiles and conducting high-value strategic conversations.
- Ability to craft messages that get responses (not spam).
- A natural talent for turning an initial conversation into a long-term relationship.
- A Type A personality: structured, methodical, performance- and optimization-oriented.
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter (boolean, advanced outbound, follow-ups).
- Experience with ATS and a clear understanding of the importance of clean pipelines.
- Professional proficiency in English is required to operate in our North American environment; bilingual English–French is a strong asset.
- A strong interest in the creative industries, entertainment and talent management.
- Real motivation for a clear compensation structure (base + bonus) aligned with impact.
- This role is for you if you want to be recognized as an expert, influence decisions and become a market reference.
Benefits
- Unlimited paid vacation: Yes, really. Enjoy true work–life balance with the freedom to take the time you need, when you need it.
- 12 personal days per year: One day off each month to rest, recharge or simply catch your breath.
- Flexible work environment: Minimal office presence required for those who live near one of our hubs, allowing you to adapt your schedule easily.
- Offices in Montréal & Toronto: Snacks, an amazing atmosphere and pet-friendly spaces. What more could you ask for?
- Remote work: Ideal for travelers, expats or digital nomads who want to advance their career without being tied to one location.
- Freestyle Fridays: We finish at 2:00 PM every Friday — long weekends, every week.
- Comprehensive insurance: Dental, vision and medical coverage for you and your dependents.
- Professional growth: Real internal advancement opportunities in a fast-growing company where "the sky's the limit" isn’t just a saying.
