About the role
- Lead the highly critical recruitment function across Duke University Health System, designed to strategically attract, hire, and retain top talent.
- Develop, drive, and execute on talent acquisition strategies across all of DUHS.
- Serve as the primary advisor to senior leadership on talent acquisition initiatives.
- Build high-trust partnerships with management and internal customers.
- Partner, onboard, and assimilate new hires.
- Develop key strategies to retain key talent.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or other related discipline required.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 - 10 years’ experience in talent acquisition and/or human resources roles at a high-growth, high-volume organization, with five of those in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving business goals and delivering a best-in-class hiring experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- Strategic, high-energy leader with high emotional intelligence and deep experience managing a large and diverse recruitment team.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
