About the role
- Lead the review, organization, and refinement of SOPs governing internal approval processes for academic programs, certificates, and degrees
- Serve as the primary contact for academic policy inquiries, interpreting and explaining policies to faculty, staff, and leadership
- Assist with preparation and documentation for regional and programmatic accreditors, ensuring compliance and readiness for site visits
- Design, implement, and maintain a centralized, searchable academic policy database in collaboration with IT and communications teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- At least 4 years of progressively responsible experience in academic administration, policy development, accreditation, or related areas in higher education
- Experience with academic governance, curriculum approval processes, and/or accreditation documentation preferred
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to collaborate across multiple units in a decentralized institution
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with content management systems, databases, and Microsoft Office; experience with policy management software is a plus
