About the role
- Own and coordinate end-to-end delivery across multiple sportsbook initiatives running in parallel.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and align with agreed business and technical objectives.
- Identify and manage cross-team dependencies to support cohesive execution and predictable outcomes.
- Work closely with engineering and product contributors to support efficient, focused sportsbook delivery.
- Identify and remove impediments that slow progress or impact delivery commitments.
- Encourage strong delivery practices that keep teams aligned, productive, and outcome-driven.
- Act as a primary delivery contact for sportsbook-related stakeholders, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Maintain transparency through accurate tracking, documentation, and reporting.
- Advocate for best-practice delivery principles and support continuous refinement of delivery processes.
- Monitor delivery performance and identify opportunities to improve flow, predictability, and quality.
- Proactively identify delivery risks and issues impacting sportsbook initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Agile Delivery Lead, or similar role, ideally within sportsbook or highly technical environments.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and deliver complex sportsbook initiatives or programmes.
- Strong understanding of delivery frameworks, agile principles, and execution practices.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced, product-led environments.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and alignment skills.
- Proficiency with delivery and tracking tools (e.g. Atlassian suite).
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution capability.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Interest in sports and/or iGaming is a strong advantage, curiosity and willingness to learn are equally valued.
