About the role

  • Lead the sales function for professional services, setting clear revenue targets and driving execution to achieve and exceed goals using established sales management tools and processes.
  • Work with Services leadership to articulate high value offerings that will resonate within the P&C market.
  • Collaborate with sales operations to provide effective reporting to ensure a clear line of sight to the achievement of services sales targets.
  • Provide overall leadership and direction for solution architecture teams, including workforce planning, performance management, coaching, career development, and readiness to support sales and delivery.
  • Evolve the solution architecture team to a level of world class performance in the engagement with prospects and customers as well as the delivery of high value solutions.
  • Establish and maintain solution architecture standards, reference architectures, and best practices aligned with Duck Creek products, cloud platforms, and integration patterns.
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, Sales, and Alliances to ensure architectural alignment from pre-sales through delivery and lifecycle management, including services positioning and scope definition.
  • Collaborate with partner organizations to define joint solution patterns and enable consistent architectural approaches across the ecosystem.
  • Support sales and account teams by providing executive-level technical and solution leadership for strategic opportunities, including services-based engagements, when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in P&C insurance enterprise services sales and architecture, solution design, or technical leadership roles.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing technical teams.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and governing large-scale, enterprise, cloud-based software solutions.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline (preferred).
  • Experience within the insurance or financial services software domain (preferred).
  • Experience working in a global insurance software sales organization (preferred).
  • Formal architecture or cloud certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or equivalent) (preferred).
