About the role
- Configures content solutions for moderate to high complexity Agile stories
- Reads and interprets high complexity rules and requirements from standards organizations
- Creates a conceptual design/architecture for medium scale content solutions in collaboration with an architect
- Debugs and resolves high complexity configuration bugs or issues
- Writes automated unit and integration-level tests
- Follows development standards and effectively demonstrates content solutions to other developers
- Performs other related duties and activities as required
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Mathematics, Computer Information Sciences, or Business
- 10 years minimum total work experience; 15+ years preferred in software development
- Leadership experience of 2 years minimum; 4 years preferred
- Product experience of 6 years minimum; 8+ years preferred
- Domain experience of 6 years minimum; 8+ years preferred
- Expert knowledge in XML/XSLT Document Design, XPath Querying, and Insurance Domain Knowledge
- Knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance Lines of Business
- Familiarity with Content Development Standards & Best Practices
- Ability to estimate coding efforts
- Understanding of Agile Methodology
- Knowledge of relational database designs & queries
