About the role
- Account Ownership & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts
- Build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a strategic consultant
- Maintain a deep understanding of client needs, challenges, and business objectives
- Build strong, meaningful Territory & Account Plans
- Provide proactive recommendations, introducing new solutions that add value and drive engagement
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by delivering top-notch service and innovative solutions
- Sales Growth, Cross-Selling & Upselling: Identify need to bring in additional DTN expertise and solution engineer resources for ongoing account expansion.
- Negotiate contract renewals above a set threshold, ensuring continued success and profitability
- Hunt for Additional Opportunities: Continuously analyze accounts for new business opportunities, leveraging industry insights and customer feedback
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in software and/or SaaS sales
- 5+ years of experience in account management, consultative sales, or B2B client relations
- Strong understanding of the aviation and weather sectors
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth through cross-selling and upselling
- Self-motivated, with a strategic mindset and proactive approach to account management
- Proficiency in Salesforce for tracking leads and managing pipeline
- A consultative and professional approach to engaging with customers
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances
