About the role

  • Lead a portfolio of high impact revenue generating partnerships that are designed to have significant impact on the Weather business
  • Be accountable for annual ARR targets and the necessary pipeline to achieve those targets
  • Evaluate existing partnerships for ARR growth potential and make recommendations on partner ecosystem development
  • Select and on-board new partnerships in concert with the business group, product leadership, customer experience and sales
  • Nurture and enable partnerships to drive revenue through a number of commercial models ranging from classic product OEM agreements to co-sell models
  • Own the executive mapping and sponsorships for DTN weather partnerships within the portfolio
  • Own and lead end customer opportunities generated and developed through the partnership and closely liaise with sales/sellers to drive all deals to closure.
  • Work closely with product marketing to drive new customer opportunities through customer facing partner events
  • Implement a strong business rhythm with all GTM partners – this will include regular updates to DTN executives plus robust external quarterly business reviews with all key GTM partners and internal stakeholders
  • Drive a strong focus on SaaS solutions and recurring revenue through these partnerships.
  • Operate with excellence within DTN established buyer-centric sales process and sales operations ; set an example for managing partner opportunities in Salesforce.com (CRM)
  • Create comprehensive business plans for each partnership, outlining clear objectives , revenue targets, and implementation strategies.
  • Lead complex partnership negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that drive value for both parties.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in partner business development, partner GTM development, and sales execution stemming from partner co-sell motions
  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS software sales or partnership co-selling – this is preferred experience
  • Proven ability to hunt for new partnerships while enabling for success among existing partners in parallel
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and networking skills are a must since this role will collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders and external partnerships
  • Self-motivated, driven, and passionate about sales growth.
  • Proficiency in SFDC software for tracking leads and managing pipeline
  • A consultative and professional approach to engaging with partners, customers and executives.
