About the role
- Leads the company’s sourcing strategy for large-scale capital and operational projects
- Develops and implements sourcing strategies for major capital projects and operational spend
- Drives capital efficiency and cost reduction across O&M and capital supplier spending
- Conducts market analysis and supplier benchmarking to identify opportunities for cost reduction, risk mitigation, and innovation
- Negotiates multi-year and multi-million-dollar contracts with strategic suppliers
- Builds and maintains relationships with key suppliers for reliability, sustainability, and diversity
- Partners with engineering, finance, and project teams for alignment on sourcing strategies
- Provides strategic guidance to senior leadership on sourcing trends and opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, finance, economics, or business administration
- 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management
- 4 years formal leadership experience
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing sourcing or supply chain teams
- Strong executive-level communication skills, including presenting strategies to C-suite stakeholders
- Experience implementing digital procurement tools, analytics platforms, or automation solutions
