About the role
- Lead long ‑ term business development for all Taste categories, with a stronger focus on Beverages and Dairy, for a major global key account in North America, driving sales growth and profitability in alignment with global and regional objectives.
- Position dsm-firmenich as a strategic partner by building a robust pipeline, winning high-impact projects, and delivering profitable, customer-centric solutions.
- Contribute to the global strategy as defined by the TTH Global Lead, ensuring alignment with governance frameworks and proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
- Provide category leadership across sales activities, ensuring consistency and excellence in execution globally; own the business strategy and growth agenda for the North American region, coordinating local account management and execution across markets.
- Continuously explore new business opportunities across the value chain, including disruptive innovation and strategic partnerships.
- Drive cross-functional development projects with internal stakeholders, fostering proactive collaboration and innovation.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of commercial experience in the international Food industry in a sales role required; experience managing key accounts a plus
- Food industry technical knowledge and beverage experience will be a strong advantage
- Ability to develop successful client relationship with large accounts and advanced Sales and Negotiation skills
- Thorough business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with a sound ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Outstanding interpersonal and influential skills, with a thorough team player mindset and collaborative behavior; lead with empathy
- Bachelor's degree required; degree in a technical discipline preferred
