About the role

  • Acts as a challenging business partner for the Dalry Management Team, by developing insight into key business drivers and KPIs.
  • Ensuring the realization of the agreed business and financial plans of Dalry by steering, monitoring and controlling the accounting and financial processes of the business.
  • Contributing to Projects and Business with their financial perspective and by sharing relevant business information to colleagues in the Dalry management team.
  • Ensuring effective and efficient financial accounting and reporting.
  • Incorporation of our new production line into SAP and set up of reporting processes.
  • Managing completion of the month end closing activities.
  • Responsible for (and analysis on) product costing, variance analysis manufacturing performance, inventories and first line analysis and insights on actuals, forecasts and budget.
  • Management of the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process.
  • Management of the UK payroll and VAT processes.
  • Supporting other tax processes and compliance activities.
  • Management of the Dalry site SAP system.
  • Drives continuous improvement across the site.

Requirements

  • A degree in accounting and be a member of a recognized Accounting Institution.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a finance position.
  • Knowledge of tax, business legislation, and accountancy.
  • High levels of self-motivation.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Being a team player.
  • Attention to detail.
