About the role
- Set up and implement scrum best practices and ceremonies to improve team estimations and efficiencies
- Coach multiple scrum teams and other scrum masters to implement effective agile practices
- Be the scrum master of at least 2 teams and work closely with Product Managers, Dev leads, QA & UX team members
- Recommend and implement the right scrum processes and standardize scrum processes, language, metrics and KPIs across teams
- Build reports on Jira and help teams measure burndown, velocity, and other sprint metrics
- Facilitate grooming, planning, daily standups, retrospectives, sprint demos and coach engineers on demo preparation
- Conduct scrum trainings, classroom trainings, on-the-job training and job shadowing to onboard engineers and QA
- Raise system issues or process improvements to product and engineering leadership and drive change
- Continuously improve team's processes and practices to increase velocity and enable faster time to market
Requirements
- About 5 years of experience in Software Development in any capacity within a scrum team
- At least 3 years or more of experience as a scrum master of a team
- Experience in facilitating scrum of scrums
- Experience in working as a scrum master with product organization
- Certified as a scrum master with minimum level 1 of CSM
- Additional scrum certifications like SAFe will be a plus
- Expert in configuring and administering tools like Jira for scrum management
- Expert in excel based reports; preparing status reports using excel and presentations
- Able to build short trainings of 1-4 hours to train and orient other employees
- Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written skills, with the ability to present ideas
- Able to express and explain new initiatives along with status updates
- Highly motivated and a self-starter; able to drive initiatives independently and self-discipline
- Values aligned with being a team of experts, problem solvers and collaborators; customer focused, dependable and trustworthy
- Eligible to reside and work in Bandung (Indonesian citizenship only)
- Working experience with Global teams outside Indonesia will be a huge plus
