About the role

  • Develop full features (frontend and backend) for VTEX stores using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Node.js.
  • Create and maintain sections, templates, snippets and theme customizations.
  • Implement interfaces from Figma layouts, ensuring visual fidelity and usability.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with APIs, custom apps and external services.
  • Configure and manage metafields, metaobjects, automations and theme settings.
  • Work with VTEX APIs.
  • Implement and monitor webhooks.
  • Handle integrations with payments, shipping, ERP, CRM, Checkout and marketing tools.
  • Execute tasks based on technical specifications.
  • Investigate, debug and fix issues in frontend, backend, themes, apps and performance.
  • Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
  • Support PageSpeed, accessibility and conversion rate optimization (CRO) improvements.
  • Follow coding standards, use Git for version control and submit pull requests for review.
  • Collaborate with e-commerce, IT, Marketing, Design and Product teams.
  • Communicate blockers proactively and propose viable technical solutions.
  • Participate in technical alignments and contribute to continuous improvements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack VTEX developer.
  • Proficiency with VTEX IO, JSON templates, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Node.js and building integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with VTEX APIs.
  • Experience converting Figma designs into functional implementations.
  • Familiarity with VTEX apps, metafields, products and automations.
  • Ability to follow technical specifications and deliver with quality and speed.
  • Comfortable using Trello or similar tools.
  • Good communication skills.
