• Expand and strategically develop our customer base in the automotive sector (OEMs and suppliers), including planning, executing and monitoring your sales targets
• Identify new projects and business opportunities with existing and prospective customers
• Provide application-focused consulting to customers and prospects on our adhesive and sealant solutions — technically sound and sales-oriented
• Take responsibility for the entire sales process: from the development phase through to series start (SOP)
• Lead negotiations, prepare proposals and conclude framework agreements
• Work closely with application engineering, product management and marketing
• Monitor market, technology and competitor trends to identify new sales opportunities
• Regular customer visits, participation in project meetings and attendance/exhibition at industry events and trade fairs

• You ensure that our products are marketable worldwide and remain so — taking into account all regulatory and safety-related requirements in collaboration with the service provider Qualisys
• You create and maintain a standardized product portfolio (global / country-specific) in close coordination with Sales and Purchasing regarding pricing, container formats, accessories and packaging
• You perform make-or-buy analyses concerning in-house filling versus external filling
• You are responsible for safety-related chemistry and maintain and monitor certifications, approvals and regulatory affairs, e.g., DVGW, safety-related chemical data, REACH compliance, regulations, etc.
• You create and maintain product-related documentation and master data in the ERP system, such as technical data sheets, safety data sheets, article numbers, product names, etc.
• You continuously analyze our portfolio based on purchasing, sales and profitability metrics (including write-offs) and implement changes derived from these analyses
• You support application engineering and Sales with safety-related product qualifications
• You are responsible for the internal implementation of the Chemicals Prohibition Ordinance and support the warehouse in complying with all relevant requirements for the storage of chemical hazardous materials — including training warehouse staff in handling hazardous substances according to the German Hazardous Substances Ordinance (GefStoffV)
• You work closely with external partners, suppliers and customers on safety-chemical and regulatory topics
• You manage customer requirements and quality processes, e.g., PPAP, VDA, quality processes and entries in customer portals
• You are responsible for product introductions and discontinuations and ensure smooth communication with customers as well as internally
• You take the lead in rolling out product launches, including product presentations and training for Sales, Customer Service, Application Engineering and Marketing
• You design product packaging (containers, labels, packaging) together with Marketing and Logistics
• You participate in research projects and coordinate alignment between internal and external stakeholders
