About the role
- Independently book, rebook and cancel flights as part of package holidays
- Work closely with the entire operations team (hotels, transfers, cruises) to optimally coordinate all travel components
- Contribute your flight-related expertise in the early stages of product planning to develop economically and operationally sensible solutions
- Manage flight irregularities such as cancellations, delays, schedule changes or last-minute rebookings, including in exceptional situations
- Work in the GDS (particularly queue management, schedule changes, re‑issues)
- Collaborate with our consolidator, who handles the majority of airline communication
- Support the team and sales colleagues with flight-related questions and special solutions
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in tourism (e.g., travel agent / tourism clerk)
- Several years of experience in flight handling and fare structures (e.g., negotiated fares, tour‑operator fares, cruise fares), ideally within a tour operator environment
- Strong Amadeus skills and confidence handling complex bookings
- Understanding of the interaction between all travel services and a strong preference for close teamwork
- High reliability, sense of responsibility and commitment—especially in stressful situations
- Structured, careful and independent working style
- Excellent German and good English skills
