About the role

  • Support in preparing monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).
  • Account reconciliations and analyses (general ledger and sub-ledgers, clearing/intercompany accounts).
  • Act as a close interface to internal and external IT: define and align accounting-relevant requirements.
  • Provide subject-matter support for system migrations and implementations.
  • Lead and take ownership of finance projects (e.g., process standardization and optimization, internationalization).

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable role, ideally in a dynamic or high-growth company environment.
  • Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a comparable commercial qualification.
  • Solid experience in process automation within accounting or finance.
  • Proven experience with system migrations or system implementations.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and their accounting integration.
  • Confident user of MS Office, especially Excel; ideally experience with SAP or comparable ERP systems.
  • Strong IT affinity and enjoyment of collaborating with technical teams.
  • Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working style with a pronounced hands-on mentality.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey professional requirements clearly to IT and other stakeholders.
  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
