About the role
- Strategically partner with commercial account executives to break into prospective customer accounts.
- Research commercial accounts, identify key initiatives & players.
- Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline.
- Discover new leads through internet research and social media.
- Utilize active listening skills to understand and uncover customer needs.
- Achieve and exceed weekly/monthly metrics (meetings, qualified opportunities, new contacts, etc.).
- Conduct high-level conversations with C-Suite executives.
Requirements
- 6 months - 2 years of experience in a sales development associate or inside sales role.
- Sales experience in the SaaS space is a plus.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business environment.
- Must be intensely curious and able to rapidly absorb and integrate new concepts and technologies.
- Must be organized and detail-oriented.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be confident but self-critical.
