About the role

  • Strategically partner with commercial account executives to break into prospective customer accounts.
  • Research commercial accounts, identify key initiatives & players.
  • Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline.
  • Discover new leads through internet research and social media.
  • Utilize active listening skills to understand and uncover customer needs.
  • Achieve and exceed weekly/monthly metrics (meetings, qualified opportunities, new contacts, etc.).
  • Conduct high-level conversations with C-Suite executives.

Requirements

  • 6 months - 2 years of experience in a sales development associate or inside sales role.
  • Sales experience in the SaaS space is a plus.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business environment.
  • Must be intensely curious and able to rapidly absorb and integrate new concepts and technologies.
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and be confident but self-critical.
