About the role
- Support in developing novel algorithms and methods for use in data-driven applications in medical or safety technology
- Development of intelligent sensor systems for the control of anesthesia and ventilation devices
- Further development of mobile and stationary gas detector fleets as well as camera-based monitoring systems
- Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams of developers, market experts and potential customers
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics or a comparable subject (at least 4th semester), with a study focus in Data Science or Computer Vision
- Ideally some initial experience with tools such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, OpenCV or the Point Cloud Library
- If your focus is Data Engineering: ideally initial experience with modern (NoSQL) database systems, distributed storage systems and stream processors such as Apache Spark or Flink, as well as cloud platforms
- Initial programming experience in software development (C/C++, Python and ideally C# or Java)
- Interest in applying your solid theoretical approach and creativity in practice to develop innovative solutions and to understand our application domains and users
