About the role
- Independently implement, manage and optimize supply chain management processes in the area of hazardous substances/dangerous goods management, including IT systems
- Assess and integrate legal/regulatory requirements (e.g., ADR, IATA) into logistical processes and data structures
- Coordinate all relevant stakeholders – internal (e.g., Global Service, Environmental Management) and external (transport and warehousing service providers)
- Support product development by advising on transport and storage requirements (end-to-end supply chain)
- Participate in international projects as the subject matter expert for the supply chain, including hazardous substance and dangerous goods handling
- Independently identify, develop, evaluate and specify complex strategic issues, including those related to hazardous substances/dangerous goods
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in supply chain management, ideally with a focus on dangerous goods and hazardous substances
- Solid knowledge of dangerous goods regulations for road, sea and air (e.g., ADR, IMDG, IATA)
- Excellent written and spoken English and German
- University degree in business administration with a focus on supply chain management, natural sciences or engineering, or an equivalent qualification
