About the role
- Participation and application of DPR’s environmental health and safety plan
- Mentor, develop and train team members
- Management of other project engineer team members
- Assist superintendent and project manager in the implementation of DPR policies
- Organizing the duties of other engineers, field office coordinator, project accountant and project staff
- Preparation, monitoring, and updating project schedules
- Preparing owner billing, maintaining internal records, and ensuring changes are getting paid
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (CMiC, Prolog or similar), scheduling software (Primavera or similar) and BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks or similar)
- Excellent listening and strong communication skills
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues
