About the role
- Deliver compelling technical messaging and product demonstrations in support of new business opportunities
- Work closely with customers, as well as Sales and Services teams
- Support the planning and execution of Proof-of-Concept projects and evaluations
- Contribute to the delivery of customer training
- Lead end-to-end demo cycles, RFP responses, and technical customer engagements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and consultants
- Architect and design solution proposals and bids
- Support, attend, and lead meetings, discussions, and negotiations
- Provide coaching and technical support to sales professionals and BDRs
- Ensure effective handover of proposed solutions to delivery teams
- Maintain up-to-date technical expertise across Dotmatics SaaS portfolio
- Provide structured feedback and collaborate with Product Management
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Biology or Biochemistry
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a customer facing role
- Experienced in presenting solutions and utilizing knowledge of Pre-sales best practice for software demonstrations
- Willing to travel to customer sites up to 40%
- Extensive knowledge of antibody drug development and molecular biology
- Personal use of AI-driven work practices
- Working Knowledge of Scientific/informatics software
- Understanding of SaaS architecture, integrations and security
- SQL and Python proficiency
- Experience with Dotmatics’ applications such as Snapgene, Geneious Prime and Biologics, and Prism
- Modeling scientific data, and crafting solutions, based on product knowledge and industry best practices
