About the role

  • Conduct exploratory and manual testing (UAT) across web-based applications within the Luma platform.
  • Develop tests/exploratory test guides to ensure business requirements are met
  • Validate new features, integrations, and workflows
  • Perform backend validation of APIs, services, and database interactions
  • Use tools like Postman/Bruno for RESTful API testing
  • Log clear, reproducible bug reports and collaborate with developers
  • Provide critical feedback on usability, workflow efficiency, and overall user experience
  • Collaborate with automation engineers

Requirements

  • A background in science (chemistry, biology, or related field) is required
  • Education or working experience in a Scientific environment using scientific software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies, edge cases, and usability issues
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
