About the role
- Use SQL and other analytics tools to explore complex datasets, identify key business opportunities, and frame insights into actionable strategies
- Take ambiguous ideas and turn them into well-defined projects; define hypotheses, scope efforts, conduct analyses, and execute solutions
- Partner with Account Management, Strategy & Operations, Product, and Data Eng to tackle ambiguous problems and align priorities
- Design and automate dashboards, models, and reporting infrastructure to provide clear insights and support long-term growth strategies
- Craft clear and compelling narratives that communicate complex insights to drive alignment and action
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality and consistency to enable more scalable and accurate analytics
- Support Enterprise Sales organization and scale merchant growth through high-impact execution and strategic planning
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in quantitative or business fields, or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of work experience in data analytics, strategy, consulting, or other similar field
- Analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to work through complex, ambiguous problems using data
- Proven ability to achieve expert level in querying languages and data analysis tools such as SQL and Python
- Proficiency in data analysis tools like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Proficiency in presentation software like Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides
- Experience with data visualization platforms like Tableau or Sigma
- Strong written/verbal communications and presentation skills
