About the role
- Responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the Rothschild Biomass Cogeneration Facility (RBCF)
- Ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and safety leadership
- Coordinate across internal teams and external partners to optimize facility performance, productivity, and long-term sustainability
- Provide direct supervision of operating crews
- Analyze operational and process data to troubleshoot complex systems and implement effective corrective actions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Pulp & Paper, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of Operations Leadership experience, with focus on power and steam generation systems
- Strong ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex process systems and implement corrective actions
- Ability to work cooperatively across departments and companies to build strong business relationships
- Computer-savvy with experience in digital process control, operational monitoring, and reporting tools
