About the role

  • Continue the implementation and updating of the planned maintenance management system
  • Responsible for preventive maintenance and condition monitoring
  • Provide technical advice and support to the electrical and operations teams
  • Optimize processes and develop communication tools
  • Work collaboratively with electro-instrumentation technicians
  • Analyze and develop solutions to recurring problems
  • Update equipment drawings and maintenance programs
  • Ensure the proper functioning of electrical control systems
  • Supervise work during planned shutdowns
  • Participate in the training of technicians and operations staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Registered/licensed with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (Professional Engineer - P.Eng. preferred)
  • 5 to 10 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance for electrical distribution networks
  • Skilled with A/C variable speed drives and in the operation of programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
  • Asset: knowledge of electrostatic precipitators
  • Proactive, team-oriented
  • Results-driven
  • Energetic, autonomous, demonstrates leadership and accountability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt in a constantly evolving environment
