About the role
- Advise managers and employees on HR policies, labour laws and collective agreements.
- Participate in the negotiation, interpretation and application of collective agreements.
- Manage disciplinary files, grievances and disputes in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Contribute to the implementation of employee engagement and retention strategies.
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR programs (training, development, recognition, etc.).
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments related to labour law and industrial relations.
- Collaborate on the development and updating of internal policies.
- Support staffing, onboarding and integration of new employees.
Requirements
- University degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a unionized environment.
- Excellent knowledge of Quebec labour law and labour relations practices.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple files simultaneously.
- Strong ethics, discretion and professionalism.
