About the role

  • Advise managers and employees on HR policies, labour laws and collective agreements.
  • Participate in the negotiation, interpretation and application of collective agreements.
  • Manage disciplinary files, grievances and disputes in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the implementation of employee engagement and retention strategies.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR programs (training, development, recognition, etc.).
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments related to labour law and industrial relations.
  • Collaborate on the development and updating of internal policies.
  • Support staffing, onboarding and integration of new employees.

Requirements

  • University degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a unionized environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Quebec labour law and labour relations practices.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple files simultaneously.
  • Strong ethics, discretion and professionalism.
