About the role

  • Collaborates with management to understand and support recruiting needs
  • Sources talent, manages the interview process, and maintains accurate candidate records
  • Administers the onboarding process and provides support to new hires
  • Partners with the Operations/Benefits team in the development of a wellness plan
  • Responds to employee inquiries and concerns, providing information on policies
  • Collaborates with Payroll, Rewards & Recognition Coordinator on maintenance of employee files

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of HR-related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Communications, or related field preferred; an AA degree combined with relevant HR experience will also be considered
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT, Adobe and Canva (or similar graphic design tools)
  • Process and systems thinking and ability to learn the HCM platform (Paylocity); prior experience with any HCM platform is necessary
  • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving ability, and a continuous-improvement mindset
  • Ability to work well independently and as a strong team player
  • Strong project management skills
