About the role
- Working with cross-functional team members in the execution and delivery of PerfectScale products, using a customer-focused, iterative design process
- Collaborating closely with engineering, product management, PMM and research to develop impactful, user-centric, and data-informed solutions.
- Working alongside engineers throughout the implementation and quality assurance phases.
- Product Design: Creating user-centered designs based on research and insights, including but not limited to user flows, journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications.
- Design Iteration: Participating in various methods of critiquing and evaluating design including usability testing and iterating on designs based on feedback.
- User Advocacy: Acting as a user advocate to ensure the end product offers a high-quality user experience.
- Participating in the development and maintenance of the design system utilizing the latest industry techniques and best practices
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience designing for consumer-facing digital product experiences.
- A deep passion to think differently and challenge conventional approaches to design.
- Proven expertise in multiple areas of Digital Product Design including but not limited to Interaction Design, Service Design, Information Architecture, Visual Design, Production Design, Research, and Digital Prototyping.
- Mastery of Figma, and various prototyping tools.
- Ability to build and organize high-quality and consistent design artifacts including flow diagrams, journey maps, wireframes, lo and hi-fi mockups, simple prototypes, design specifications, and related documentation.
- Proven experience leading Design System initiatives and deep expertise in Design Systems best practices.
- Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills; presentation skills.
- Experience working on a high-performing team, collaborating with designers, product managers, engineers, leadership, and other key partners.
