About the role
- The Senior Project Coordinator supports the advancement of Shared Care Committee work plan priorities as delegated by the Senior Manager, Shared Care & Strategic Initiatives.
- The Senior Project Coordinator will provide project management and coordination support to advance assigned portfolios and will be responsible for developing and maintaining project management systems tracking key milestones, activities and progress.
- Developing, maintaining, and monitoring budget trackers.
- Developing communication materials such as briefing notes, presentations, and agenda packages.
- Contributing to monthly and quarterly reports outlining the progress of the portfolio.
- Supporting activities to advance the portfolio such as steering committees, working groups, partner engagement, and strategic planning processes.
- Coordinate the planning for the Fall JCC & Physician Services Committee workshop on Pregnancy & Newborn Care.
- In collaboration with the Senior Manager, develop and implement deliverables to advance the portfolio.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of progressive and related experience or an equivalent level of related work experience in lieu of post-secondary education.
- Experience in project management and adept at balancing significant concurrent priorities, with a high attention to detail, risk management, and effective time management.
- Budget development and management skills.
- Ability to work synergistically in a collaborative team environment and coordinate tasks and priorities with other team members.
- Experience working in the BC health care system or general knowledge of the BC health care system is preferred.
- Ability to apply logical and evaluative thinking to define problems, collect information, establish facts and determine optimal solutions.
- Excellent diplomacy, communication and relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact with highly trained professionals and diverse partners.
- Demonstrated experience working in dynamic, challenging, and ambiguous environments.
- Excellent research and writing skills and proven ability to develop clear and concise communication.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently independently and as a member of the team.
- Demonstrated proficiency with PC based software, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
