About the role

  • Execute and automate the creation of resource groups, storage accounts, and tagging
  • Maintain least-privilege access through disciplined RBAC and Privileged Identity Management processes
  • Continuously monitor Azure Policy and Microsoft Defender for Cloud alerts
  • Oversee the lifecycle of VMs and managed services, including provisioning, backup/restore validation, and key rotation
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for Azure-related incidents and requests
  • Collaborate with the team lead and systems architect to review the current Azure environment, identifying areas for optimization
  • Assist in the migration or restructuring of resources, updating scripts, templates, and runbooks to reflect new standards

Requirements

  • 1+ years’ experience in systems/cloud administration
  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • AZ900 Certification and experience working in Azure environment
  • Comfortable with PowerShell, Git, and Azure CLI for automation and troubleshooting
