About the role

  • As the strategic and technical lead for Compensation & Benefits, ensure reward systems are agile and innovative.
  • Own the Compensation & Benefits strategy, defining salary bands, bonus structures, and a diverse benefits portfolio.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on remuneration to support Union and Works Council negotiations.
  • Lead complex C&B projects, ensuring alignment between financial forecasting and people operations.
  • Leverage Workday and AI-based tools to perform "Equal Pay" audits and automate calculation cycles.
  • Navigate cross-border tax regulations to ensure compliant remuneration packages for international colleagues.

Requirements

  • Experience in finance or consulting is a plus.
  • Analytical & Influential Mastery: Translate raw data into clear decision papers that tell a compelling story for stakeholders.
  • Technical Savvy & AI Affinity: Deep understanding of job evaluation systems and salary banding.
  • Proficiency in Workday is a significant advantage.
  • European C&B Expertise: Knowledge of frameworks in the Netherlands, Germany, and Spain.
  • Familiarity with Dutch Works Councils or cross-border tax matters is a major plus.
  • Collaborative & Agile: Comfortable working in an expert capacity, supporting negotiators with speed, accuracy, and a team-first mindset.
  • Multilingual Skills: Professional proficiency in English and German is essential; knowledge of Dutch is a nice-to-have.
