About the role
- Own the tactical execution for your squad, ensuring CMS functionality, AI content creation, and media assets are always prioritized and perfectly aligned with our roadmap.
- Translate intricate customer problems into crystal-clear user stories and functional specs that empower Engineering and QA to build with speed and precision.
- Partner closely with Engineering leads to scope work and balance new features with technical debt, ensuring every release is predictable and high-impact.
- Monitor feature adoption and success metrics to understand exactly how admins and learners interact with your product area, then use those insights to fuel continuous improvement.
- Safeguard the reliability of your domain by tracking performance hotspots and response times, ensuring a world-class experience for every user.
- Serve as the primary product expert for Support and internal teams, triaging issues and transforming recurring friction into strategic backlog wins.
- Lead release readiness by coordinating documentation and incremental rollout plans, ensuring every update lands smoothly in the hands of our users.
- Continuously optimize internal tooling and configuration models to help our teams and customers operate with maximum efficiency and zero escalations.
- Dive deep into problem-framing and solution exploration alongside Design and Engineering, validating big ideas through prototypes and customer experiments.
Requirements
- 4+ years of SaaS experience, a solid understanding of APIs and enterprise patterns, and a mastery of learning standards like SCORM, xAPI, and LTI.
- You take the wheel with an execution-focused mindset, tracking every metric and ensuring that every change you champion is a victory for the customer.
- You have the rare ability to translate complex technical rules and edge cases into simple, structured narratives for any audience.
- You possess deep empathy for admins and learners alike, acting as their voice in technical discussions to ensure we never lose sight of the "human" side of the product.
- You love a good data set; you are comfortable using both qualitative feedback and hard numbers to make tough prioritization calls and define success.
- You are a true partner to Engineering and Design, expertly balancing technical feasibility with beautiful usability to find the ultimate pragmatic solution.
- You have a hawk-eye for detail, understanding how a single change in your domain creates a ripple effect across the entire ecosystem.
- You thrive in the "gray area," moving forward with confidence despite ambiguity and pivoting quickly when new data or strategic needs emerge.
