About the role

  • dLocal enables global companies to collect payments in 40 emerging market countries, simplifying payment expansion and increasing conversion rates.
  • The APM (Alternative Payment Methods) Sales Specialist will drive sales and adoption of non-card payment solutions within the payments ecosystem.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive adoption of non-card payment solutions in Africa and APAC.
  • Identify and target potential clients and expand/maintain relationships to upsell and cross-sell solutions.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs related to non-card payment adoption.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations showcasing benefits of non-card payment methods.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, product, customer support, implementation) to ensure seamless integration and onboarding.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends and developments in payments industry, particularly non-card methods in Africa and APAC.

Requirements

  • Advanced English
  • Experience selling non-card payment methods and knowledge of the payments industry in Africa and APAC
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Perseverance. Hearing "NO" doesn't phase you!
  • A self-starter with a can-do attitude who is open to working across time zones with teams from all over the world
  • Valued skill: Advanced Mandarin
  • Client-facing experience is ideal
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
