About the role
- Administer the Workload management services in a global and diverse environment.
- Install, configure, upgrade, improve and maintain the Control-M environment.
- Manage and troubleshoot batch workflows, jobs and scheduling issues.
- Monitor and maintain Control-M Agents, Servers and other infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with developers and business users to ensure Control-M jobs meet business requirements.
- Develop, test and implement policies and procedures for Control-M job scheduling.
- Design and deploy Windows-based infrastructure solutions.
- Implement automation scripts for deployment (Infra as code), monitoring, and maintenance.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions are in place.
- Manage and maintain our virtualization platforms, servers, including updates, patches, and security configurations.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Work with development teams to optimize application performance on Windows platforms.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other IT staff and end-users.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain security best practices.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of routine tasks.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Ansible.
- Set up and manage monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance.
- Generate regular reports on system performance, uptime, and security incidents.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- - 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- - Proven experience within IT Infrastructure.
- - Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware).
- - 3+ years of coding experience
- Skills:
- - Control-M Administrator
- - Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure Services
- - Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python)
- - Excellent Infra coding skills
- - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- - Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
