About the role

  • Lead the delivery, optimization and continuous improvement of HR Operations services across Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Singapore and India.
  • Represent the APAC region within the Global HR Operations Leadership Team.
  • Act as a regional point of escalation for complex HR Operations queries and manage issue resolution.
  • Lead and coach the APAC HR Operations team.
  • Oversee end to end payroll operations across multiple APAC jurisdictions.
  • Partner with Local HR Business Partners, COEs, HR Technology, Business Leaders, and external vendors.
  • Lead the full RFP process for the region’s new payroll system.
  • Drive the multi‑year implementation of the new payroll solution across APAC.
  • Ensure implementation and maintenance of standard operating procedures across the region.

Requirements

  • A minimum of four to five years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or broad HR Administration with regional responsibilities across the APAC region.
  • Working knowledge of employment legislation in at least four of the following: Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Singapore, or India.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing HR Shared Services/HR Operations teams and directly managing a Payroll Manager or similar role.
  • Experience running an RFP process for HR or payroll technologies
  • Project management experience in full life-cycle HR transformation or systems implementation.
  • Hands-on experience using one or more modern HRIS platforms, ideally Oracle HCM Cloud, Workday, or SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Proficiency with a case management system such as ServiceNow or Zendesk, and experience managing SLA-based service models.
  • Experience working with virtual or geographically dispersed teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across a matrixed organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities across different time zones.
  • Familiarity with the cultural and business norms across APAC countries.
