About the role
- Support the firm’s efforts to recruit and onboard lawyers.
- Schedule interviews and maintain candidate records through the application tracking system.
- Identify top legal talent ensuring compliance with all hiring policies.
- Assist and coordinate activities related to the full life cycle of a lateral candidate.
- Communicate directly with search firm agencies, associates, partner candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Manage conflicts checks and background checks.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Managers on special projects.
- Provide information and reports regarding recruitment to the business and HR leadership team.
- Process vendor invoices for all U.S. related recruitment expenses and maintain records.
- Assist with the administrative process of executing agreements with new agency relations.
- Collect and compile evaluations for summer associate reviews.
Requirements
- Prior experience in law firm recruiting preferred.
- Hands-on experience in MS Outlook, Word, Excel (experience using pivot tables, Artificial Intelligence and other advanced analytics preferred).
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills required.
- Comfortable learning and working in new recruiting/HR software platforms.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- A team player with a self-starter attitude.
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years of legal recruiting or similar environment.
