About the role

  • Support the firm’s efforts to recruit and onboard lawyers.
  • Schedule interviews and maintain candidate records through the application tracking system.
  • Identify top legal talent ensuring compliance with all hiring policies.
  • Assist and coordinate activities related to the full life cycle of a lateral candidate.
  • Communicate directly with search firm agencies, associates, partner candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage conflicts checks and background checks.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Managers on special projects.
  • Provide information and reports regarding recruitment to the business and HR leadership team.
  • Process vendor invoices for all U.S. related recruitment expenses and maintain records.
  • Assist with the administrative process of executing agreements with new agency relations.
  • Collect and compile evaluations for summer associate reviews.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in law firm recruiting preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in MS Outlook, Word, Excel (experience using pivot tables, Artificial Intelligence and other advanced analytics preferred).
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Comfortable learning and working in new recruiting/HR software platforms.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • A team player with a self-starter attitude.
  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years of legal recruiting or similar environment.
