About the role

  • Running our financial accounting and all related tasks such as billing and payment
  • Review and enhance the automation of our current invoicing and payment procedures, streamlining processes and implementing efficient systems
  • Ensure seamless stakeholder management with our external accounting partners, especially in Brazil, Mexico and future locations
  • Support the development of activities and strategies to ensure deal and audit readiness, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, implementing robust controls, and improving financial reporting processes
  • Be the first point of contact for accounting and taxation topics to our internal stakeholders
  • Take care of the Brazilian payroll and onboarding process together with outsourced provider

Requirements

  • Top university degree in business administration with a focus on finance/controlling/accounting
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in financial accounting and controlling
  • Prior experience in auditing at a top accounting firm is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and Brazilian GAAP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of ERP systems implementation (e.g. Netsuite, Xero, etc) is a plus
  • Fluent in English and native in Brazilian Portuguese
  • Spanish is a big plus
  • Detail oriented, independent, and have a structured way of working
  • Extremely reliable with very good communication skills
  • Driven, ambitious, and willing to get hands-on
  • Show ownership and responsibility of your problem space
