Security Operations

• Own the log ingestion pipeline end-to-end: identify gaps, build feeds, validate parsing, maintain coverage dashboards
• Close the federal logging gap and stand up commercial logging across AWS, Azure, Entra ID, and SaaS
• Activate and configure SecOps SOAR capabilities including Domain-Wide Delegation, marketplace integrations, and bidirectional response actions
• Build and maintain SOAR playbooks for major incident types such as phishing, malware, account compromise, lateral movement, and cloud-specific threats
• Develop and maintain operational dashboards for SOC metrics, alert volumes, MTTA/MTTR, and coverage status
• Manage Google SecOps RBAC
• Build and deploy production detection rules mapped to MITRE ATT&CK within the first year
• Develop custom parsers for AWS-native security services including GuardDuty, Security Hub, Inspector, WAF, CloudTrail, and VPC Flow Logs
• Establish a detection lifecycle including proposal, testing, deployment, tuning, and retirement
• Conduct quarterly detection quality reviews to measure false positive rates, coverage gaps, and rule health
• Develop alert threshold optimization to reduce noise and analyst fatigue
• Drive SentinelOne deployment across Azure VMs in commercial environments and all federal endpoints
• Configure and operationalize Cloud Funnel for log export into Google SecOps
• Build correlation rules between EDR alerts and SIEM detections
• Manage SentinelOne RBAC groups and policy configuration
• Coordinate with IT on agent deployment, health monitoring, and version management
• Serve as senior escalation point for SOC incidents, ensuring investigations are thorough and reports include root cause, remediation actions, credential rotation plans, and follow-up timelines
• Improve MTTA and MTTR through process optimization, better tooling, and analyst development
• Lead quarterly tabletop exercises and after-action reviews
• Maintain and improve incident response runbooks for all major incident categories
• Integrate incident response workflows with Jira Service Management for tracking and escalation
• Operationalize monthly scanning cadence across all environments using tools such as Nessus, AWS Inspector, and Azure Defender
• Define and enforce remediation SLAs by severity: Critical within 72 hours, High within 7 days, Medium within 30 days
• Build consolidated vulnerability dashboards in Google SecOps
• Track SLA compliance and report metrics to the CISO
• Coordinate remediation with engineering and infrastructure teams
• Serve as primary technical interface with MSSP partner for 24/7 SOC coverage
• Define and hold the MSSP accountable to SLAs, alert quality, and escalation procedures
• Review MSSP deliverables such as dashboards, reports, and playbooks for quality and completeness
• Manage the transition from the previous MSSP and ensure no coverage gaps
• Provide day-to-day technical direction to SOC analysts by setting priorities, assigning tasks, and reviewing work products
• Ensure incident response reports, playbooks, and dashboards meet quality standards before delivery to leadership or external stakeholders
• Drive OKR execution for SOC-related objectives including logging coverage, detection counts, incident response metrics, and vulnerability SLA compliance
• Identify skill gaps and development opportunities for junior analysts
• Establish and enforce SOC processes that are documented, repeatable, and auditable

Senior Security Operations Engineer

Web Designer

• Produce pixel-perfect brand assets across channels: campaign visuals, conference materials, signage, tear sheets, whitepapers, presentations, and digital ads.
• Execute within and extend the brand system led by the Staff Designer. Evolve core elements like typography, color, and illustration with validation, never drifting.
• Establish and govern cross-channel templates that teams can use with confidence.
• Architect and maintain brand libraries in Figma and/or Buzz: tokens, themes, components, and usage documentation.
• Scale production using GenAI tools while maintaining quality through clear guardrails and review criteria.
• Ensure brand consistency across print, product, social, and event surfaces. Catch drift before it compounds.
• Lead design of net-new site sections and iterative improvements to dispel.com, working within performance budgets and accessibility standards.
• Create responsive, high-fidelity page designs that communicate Dispel's value proposition clearly and with visual polish.
• Define and apply motion and accessibility guidelines for the marketing site.
• Build interactive motion assets using tools like Rive: component patterns, micro-interactions, and campaign moments that elevate the web experience.
• Edit and produce short-form video content for campaigns, social media, and event recaps.
• Partner with SEO leads on information architecture, content modules, and page structure.
• Identify and prioritize web roadmap items alongside engineering and the Staff Designer.
• Make regular updates and refinements to keep the site sharp and current.
• Work closely with the Marketing team as a day-to-day design partner. Expect a high volume of asset requests across campaigns, content, events, and enablement materials.
• Drive integrated campaign visual systems from concept through rollout, working with Marketing and Sales.
• Own complex event experiences: booth environments, screen choreography, swag, and collateral suites.
• Create brand-aligned internal communications packs and leadership presentation kits.
• Partner with Product Design to keep marketing and product surfaces visually coherent across icons, illustration style, and motion language.
• Present design rationale to stakeholders with clear logic, comps, and supporting data
• Run brand onboarding sessions and office hours to keep teams aligned
• Mentor IC1 through IC3 designers on craft fundamentals: typography, layout, color, production quality
• Publish guidance to help transition legacy brand assets to the current system
• Contribute to critique culture by giving sharp, constructive feedback grounded in brand principles.

Senior Backend Engineer

• Review Approved Vendor List to determine whether a request requires full vendor onboarding and route accordingly or if an existing relationship exists.
• Maintain an onboarding tracker with owners, due dates, and status; run regular follow-ups.
• Assemble and send complete document packages based on vendor tier including, where applicable: Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Master Service Agreements (MSA), Cyber Security Requirements, etc.
• Partner with Dispel personnel to manage redlines, approvals, and completion of security/compliance steps.
• Prepare vendor evaluation packages for the Vendor Selection Board, including compliance summaries, cost comparisons, etc.
• Track and manage & document vendor disqualification, as well as documenting the rationale for the decision.
• Serve as the procurement point of contact when a vendor experiences a security incident & coordinate with Security to assess contract obligations & remediation timelines.
• Support the accounts payable operations ensuring accurate, timely invoice processing and payment execution.
• Assist with the full cycle accounts receivable process including billing, collections, and customer account management.

Social Media Manager
